    Firefox 69 update NSS issues

I recently updated Firefox to 69 via dnf upgrade. It failed to start, so I opened a terminal and started it there.
What happened is, it failed. Here's the text of the error:
    "XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /usr/lib64/firefox/libxul.so:
/usr/lib64/firefox/libnss3.so: version `NSS_3.45' not found (required by /usr/lib64/firefox/libxul.so)
    Couldn't load XPCOM."
The installed version from fedora is NSS_3.46, and nowhere can I locate the 3.45 package.
Oddly enough the firefox.tgz from mozilla works. For now, I just downgraded Firefox to version 66.
Hope is, the gang will get it fixed in the next release.
If anyone has an idea, please feel free to post it.
Thanks for all the help over the decades, it's been a fun ride.

Re: Firefox 69 update NSS issues

Thanks for the tip, however it yielded the same error.
I ran the dnf upgrade to install firefox 69, then took the package from mozilla and copied it to
/usr/lib64/firefox. No problems on starting it up. I did however have to copy the profile data I use to a new folder
to get back all the bookmarks, plugins etc. Now dnf sees firefox 69 as installed and not listed as an available update.
Next firefox update from dnf should work properly, or at least that's how the theory goes.
End result, firefox 69 is working properly now.

Re: Firefox 69 update NSS issues

I just performed a dnf update and firefox 69 works for me, perhaps another dnf update will fix it now? Here are my firefox & nss rpm's for reference:

    Code:
    [haydn@darkstar ~]$ rpm -qa |egrep "firefox|nss-3"
    nss-3.46.0-2.fc30.i686
    nss-3.46.0-2.fc30.x86_64
    firefox-69.0-2.fc30.x86_64
