It has been quite awhile since I have used fedora last. It was a good experience in the past so I recently decided to give it another go.

I have recently run into a minor problem though. I have been using SMB to watch videos from another device on my home network.
If the network goes down (Like when someone pulled the plug for power) or if I close the laptop screen without exiting full screen from celluloid, the system becomes unresponsive. Normally I would ctrl + alt + f3 to kill the program, but ctrl + alt + f3 hasn't been responsive in these two cases.

Are there any thoughts on how I could kill the process, or deal with this in the future?
