Question Firefox video autoplay settings missing

I've always been using the Firefox that is packaged in Fedora when I noticed that it has some settings missing related to allowing/disallowing video and audio to autoplay. Here is a screenshot of my preferences from the fedora-packaged Firefox

Compare this with Firefox that I downloaded from Mozilla

    Is this normal?

Re: Firefox video autoplay settings missing

Most likely normal. (But are you sure these are the exact same versions? A new Firefox release came out this week.)
I believe Fedora compiles Firefox using specific options (or perhaps even patches are applied) for varying reasons which means the binaries distributed by Mozilla are (or have a very high chance of being) slightly different in behaviour and functionality.
Whether it is intended for these autoplay options to be unavailable in the settings screen would need some digging in the rpm source, mailing lists, bugzilla, etc.
In general, you should still be able to control these settings via about:config.

You're missing "Block websites from automatically playing sound" in the first screen. It changed from a check box to some other UI element.
