changes to audio in fedora 31

Just read this article about changes in fedora 31

    https://blogs.gnome.org/uraeus/2019/...orkstation-31/

Pipewire caught my attention as a replacement for Pulseaudio and Jack

Most of the audio applications I use on fedora are midi oriented
Timidity, MuseScore2, Qsynth, fluidsynth, Hydrogen, Lilypond

Keeping up with Fedora can be a challenge!

Keeping up with Gnome's extensions is even a more worse challenge. I dropped gnome from my daily use. I actually like and have switched to Fedora "Pantheon Desktop"
sudo dnf group list --hidden and sudo dnf group install "Pantheon Desktop".

The claim that Fedora is making -- no more xorg

I have a tailored keyboard, the keyboard is currently managed by xorg. I have not seen any test setup for keyboard management under Wayland.

They're not planning on removing Xorg completely. They're simply trying to allow Gnome on Wayland to run without requiring Xorg as well. If you wish to use xorg it will still be there, for now at least, maybe a long way down the line it will get dropped but I don't see that being anytime soon.
