Best Linux magazines? - now that Linux Journal is gone

What are the best (hard copy) Linux magazines?

I hesitate to subscribe to technical magazines. They pile up, unread, and give physical evidence of my neglect. If I had the subscriptions sent to doctors offices, I'd get around to reading them.

There is a couple that come out of UK that I pick up once in awhile. I don't subscribe either, but I do like hard copies. Linux Pro and Linux Format. A variety of news/tips/ideas/programs/etc.

We live in the era of being cheap. There is so much information on the web, that it behooves us to buy a magazine. They would have done better with using a website, asking for subscription fees (a year of reading articles) and the journal would save the cost of paper, printing, packaging, handling and mailing,

In UK we have Linux Format and Linux User. Personally i prefer Linux Format. And I believe they have a world wide subscription service. When i lived in Sweden I had a subscription to Linux Format. As far as i can remember, Linux format is the oldest Linux magazine available. The same publisher used to print Atari & Amiga format ages ago.

My best magazines are on youtube. There are many Linux topics and others too. I learned javascript, python, hardware design, advanced post grad math, and so much more.
At one time I was watching 8hrs per day of youtubes to absorb all the subjects that my bank account or library could provide.

YouTube is a fantastic source for anything Linux related, no doubt about it. But in the end, nothing beats the feeling holding and reading a fresh copy of a Linux Magazine and it's a nice way to spend time off the screen.

+1 . In fact, I like to have one with me when I travel too. Better than the 'laptop' or probing the cell phone....
