Installing hdhomerun_config_gui has an issue with libhdhomerun.so not found. The instructions at https://www.silicondust.com/support/linux/ incorrectly place the library into /usr/local/lib instead of /usr/lib64. Using the sudo ldconfig command does not help though it might still be required. (ie I did use the command and do not know if the program will work without it). The solution for the missing library is to copy the library as root to /usr/lib64 and then hdhomerun_config_gui will run from the command line. I'm still trying to figure out how to add it to the Activities Favorites Dock though.

Commands to determine where libhdhomerun.so is on your computer after performing the installation steps.
Code:
open terminal
cd /
sudo find . -name libhdhomerun.so -print
Commands to copy libhdhomerun.so into the /usr/lib64 directory.
Code:
sudo cp /usr/local/lib/libhdhomerun.so /usr/lib64/
I hope this helps you out. Also may be an issue with MythTV installations. I'm not using MythTV or HDHomeRun Recorder as I don't want to pay for subscription service.
