Install Fedora 30 Server on separate hard disk

I have a plan to buy 2 internal hard disks for a new Fedora 30 Server and use RAID 1.
But there is a hard disk which comes with the server, the capacity is only 500 GB.

Can I install Fedora 30 Server OS on this small hard disk and use 2 big hard disks to save only data ?

Actually, that is the preferred way to set up a server. In my case, I have the Fedora Server OS on a 60 GB SSD, and the DATA is on a separate 500 GB SSD with another 500 GB SSD used as a backup for the data. Since this is a small personal LAN server, 500 GB is more than enough for me at the moment. I am not a fan of software RAID, so I'm not sure how to set up the RAID.

Here is a tutorial on how I set up my server.
I try to think, but nothin' happens!

I have a similar setup, i have 250 GB samsung 860 running the OS (HDD have serious I/O bottlenecks), a 128 GB m2 SSD for quick recovery, and two HDD that just rsync frequently. RAID 1 will give you better data integrity (at the cost of reduced storage and performance.) and RAID 0 will double your storage and performance. A lot of old school guys will say RAID 0 is unreliable, but in all the years ive used it ive never had any issues (all of my work servers with heavy I/O are RAID 0). I'd vote, if you must RAID, to RAID it in 0. for my personal stuff i just rsync the two disks (a backup of the backup)

Western digital and Seagate are pretty standard, I personally use Western digital.
