    chromium won't start - libva error

    chromium suddenly stop working (after update & restart), now I'm getting this error:
    Code:
    libva error: va_getDriverName() failed with unknown libva error,driver_name=(null)
    [24624:24624:0620/110429.823784:ERROR:vaapi_wrapper.cc(327)] vaInitialize failed: unknown libva error
    [24624:24624:0620/110429.857896:ERROR:sandbox_linux.cc(364)] InitializeSandbox() called with multiple threads in process gpu-process.
    chrome-stable works just fine and vainfo output looks ok too
    Code:
    libva info: VA-API version 1.4.1
    libva info: va_getDriverName() returns 0
    libva info: Trying to open /usr/lib64/dri/i965_drv_video.so

    I reinstalled libva but still the same result.
    does anyone know what could be wrong, or how to debug this issue?
