Looking for Fedora 28 font file location

I'm using a program to make bitmaps from font ttf files. The program is looking for font files in /home/User/.local/share/fonts but I don't have that folder. Could someone tell me where the font files are?

    Thanks

That depends on what type of font it is. Typically, in:

    /usr/share/fonts/
    /usr/share/X11/fonts/
    /usr/lib/kbd/consolefonts/

And ~/.fonts if you want to install fonts for a single user or don't have root access:

    Code:
    [haydn@darkstar ~]$ grep "<dir>" /etc/fonts/fonts.conf
    	<dir>/usr/share/fonts</dir>
    	<dir>/usr/share/X11/fonts/Type1</dir> <dir>/usr/share/X11/fonts/TTF</dir> <dir>/usr/local/share/fonts</dir>
    	<dir>~/.fonts</dir>
    [haydn@darkstar ~]$
