how to swap fedora logo on bootup

Hi, I want to personalize boot screens in my computer. I'm using flickerfreeboot and plymouth bgrt. Vendor logo is working fine, but I want to change OS logo at my own. I have changed /usr/share/plymouth/themes/spinner/watermark.png for my graphic, and it displays correctly when system closing. When system starts, still shows fedora logo.

Is it some cache or something? Or maybe I have to swap also other graphic?

    I'm using
    Fedora 30 Workstation & Kernel 5.0.17

Do you mean the Fedora logo that "that features the shadowy hull of a Fedora logo charge up and and finally burst into into full form" (they're the cheesy words from the theme, not mine). First check which theme you're using in the file "/usr/share/plymouth/plymouthd.defaults", for me it's "charge", the go to the "/usr/share/plymouth/themes/charge" folder or equivalent for your theme. I have a bunch of files in there including throbber-00.png to throbber-15.png.

I believe you also need to rebuild your initramfs for the kernel. I'd recommend making a backup of the current one (just in case) and generating a new one with mkinitrd or dracut. The man pages should tell you more about it. You can see to contents of an initramfs with lsinitrd.

    Good point, confirmed:

    Code:
    [root@darkstar boot]# lsinitrd initramfs-5.0.16-200.fc29.x86_64.img |grep throbber

Yeah, thank you cazo! I have fresh installation of fedora so I didn't have to worry about any backup. Just entered

    Code:
    sudo dracut --force

    Now everything looks fine! SOLVED!
