    Melt Video Editor

Does anyone know of any tutorials or information on the Melt video editor ( command line video editor ) ? I know this program forms the basis of Shotcut and Kdenlive , but I can't find very much information on how it's used. Thanks for any information...

    Re: Melt Video Editor

There seem to be a few video tutorials. I know a lot of video tutorials are a horrendous waste of time, but the only other thing I see is a somewhat obscure (to me, at least) list of commands.

I've not used melt, nor have I looked at the videos, but hopefully it's a start.

    Re: Melt Video Editor

Ok , thanks. There's not too much information around about this tool , but I'm pretty sure "melt" is just a wrapper for "ffmpeg" and some other available video tools , but I haven't had time to look through the source code too much ...
