dnf system-upgrade reboot resulted in 'grub> ' prompt

Did anyone else get a busted result from running dnf system-upgrade reboot to the Fedora 30 beta?

I was ssh'ed to the host and did the system-upgrade reboot and the ssh connection was lost. I assumed it would just do the package updates and be fine. But I checked today and found it was not on the network, so I hooked up a monitor and found it's at the 'grub> ' prompt.
Is there a problem with doing the reboot remotely by ssh? If there is, the system-upgrade reboot should abort and tell you not to run it from an ssh session but to get on the console directly.

This is not a complex host I had this on. It was a mini-itx server I was using as a time server and file store, it has one large laptop hard drive and was on Fedora 29. So there was no multiple OS complexities or Windows dual boot. So I would have thought the grub would have been reliable.

Haven't tried upgrade yet. I've done a couple clean installs without issue.

Fedora 30 is a winner. While still being a beta offering, I was able to install KDE gnome and deepen together. I experienced no conflicts. I like the performance that I got with the three installed all together, and only got upset with Gnome's extensions being mostly non-functioning.

Deepin works as designed. It has a problem of not being able to show Icon wise, two copies of the same application running concurrently. However, it may be a better Gnome than Gnome itself.
Unless the applications are on the screen, side by side, and you need two copies, Deepin is awkward to use.

KDE runs as good as the Fedora 29 version, or even better.

Marko, have you made any progress with the upgrade?

Attempting an upgrade on a Fedora 29 Cinnamon install that I have. Had to remove a package called "pix" and remove rpmfusion-free-release and rpmfusion-nonfree-release before the upgrade would continue.

sudo dnf system-upgrade download --refresh --releasever=30

My system-upgrade stage for that host went fine, the problem was the dnf system-upgrade reboot where afterwards the grub was broken.

I'll probably reinstall it fresh using a usb key when it comes out officially
