all current intel hd gpu drivers are included with the standard kernel modules and gpu stack set, you don't need to install anything.

    Re: intel graphics hd 6000

One notable exception to this, perhaps worth pointing out, is Intel hardware video encode/decode which Red Hat won't currently include but is available at https://rpmfusion.org/

Traditionally the package was libva-intel-driver but a year or two ago Intel released intel-media-driver as the new driver for recent chips. I believe the HD 6000 was among the first generation to be supported by the new version but the older one still works for newer Intel graphics.

For example on an Acer (originally Windows) notebook with HD Graphics 500, I cannot reliably play 1080p x265/HEVC 10 bit but with intel-media-driver installed I can even play 4k/HEVC without really bothering the cpu.

    libva-intel-driver is in rpmfusion-free and intel-media-driver is in rpmfusion-nonfree

I've been previously running libva-intel-driver on newer machines because when I first tried intel-media-driver I couldn't get it to work and as the earlier driver worked fine, I never looked into it. Turns out all I needed was
    Code:
    export LIBVA_DRIVER_NAME=iHD
to override using the older driver. Anyway having worked that out I've now got the newer version to work.

    You can also
    Code:
    sudo dnf install libva-utils
    and then use
    Code:
    vainfo
    to confirm functionality.

For that, you will have to go to the Intel site and there you will get all the drives for the fedora. So just go there and get everything you want.

no, you won't. please do not post any more nonsense, Intel do not offer current drivers for Fedora from their driver downloads page. furthermore offering solutions to users that work in Windows won't help here so I have deleted your other posts.
