Black screen after kernel update (4.20.6)

Hi! I'm a new Fedora user, i just installed Fedora 29 with Kernel (4.18.16.300) and i made the software updates after that, when i reboot my system i select the new Kernel (4.20.6.200) and then i have a black screen. Why is this happening? My graphics card is NVIDIA 1050 Ti.

    Thanks.

Maybe it's recompiling the nvidia drivers ? (it always takes a while)
if you have them installed that is.

what happens if yuo type CTRL-ALT-F4 , do you get a consol login ?

I did not install any nvidia drivers, just whatever is in the fedora 29 iso, nouveau i think. CTRL-ALT-F4 doesn't do anything. When i boot from the new kernel the system freezes.

I would insert a USB stick with a live OS, and then mount the root partition, and proceed to edit the /boot/grub2/grub.cfg file manually, and take out the "rhgb quiet" from the vmlinuz line. at least then you can take a photo with your mobile phone, when it freezes, and post it here.
