I am new here, so if I am not in the correct forum area please let me know. Anyways, I recently installed Fedora 29 workstation on 3 computers (2 desktops and one laptop) to which I have installed Virtualbox successfully on two. The two that Virtualbox installed on did so without issue. I simply downloaded Virtualbox and installed through the Software Center install button and Virtualbox popped right up.
My third computer however is non-compliant. I tried to install through download/Software Center install and it throws up no errors, but when I click the icon to open it I get nothing. So I attempted following install guides/instructions from both if-not-true-then-false and nixcraft websites. The installation went fine, but I was greeted with the following errors when attempting to launch Virtualbox from the Terminal.
Code:
Qt WARNING: QXcbConnection: XCB error: 3 (BadWindow), sequence: 419, resource id: 25165828, major code: 2 (ChangeWindowAttributes), minor code: 0
Qt WARNING: QXcbConnection: XCB error: 3 (BadWindow), sequence: 420, resource id: 25165828, major code: 18 (ChangeProperty), minor code: 0 ... continued for like 3 pages
So I was hoping someone could assist me with getting this figured out as this is my main computer. Hardware specs EVGA H370 itx mobo, i5-8500, 8gb GSkill Aegis Ram 2400mhz, and GTX 760. FYI secure boot is disabled, but am running Fedora in EFI.
