Question logrotate without crontabs in minimal install

    Hi,

To make it short: It seems that logrotate is launched daily by crontabs, but in my Fedora minimal install, logrotate is installed, but not crontabs. Is it normal?
If I install crontabs packet, do I have to configure it to launch daily logrotate by launching logrotate file I see in /etc/cron.daily?

To get logrotate running as a daily service,
    Code:
    # dnf install crontabs cronie
The cronie package will install the crond.service, which is configured enabled by default. I think that's all you'll need besides the logrotate package itself.

Thanks PabloTwo, I will try that!

Do you agree it's not really coherent to have logrotate without these 2 packages?
