    Hello all!

    Any answer to this? I'm having the same problem (Fedora 28) after dnf update done a few days ago. Renders DNF and YUM unusable. Could use some advice other than reload OS.

    Yep that's it. Don't know how to fix.

    Tried RPM (can't use dnf or yum to degrade libmodulemd but it wouldn't let me.

    Poked around in the referenced files but other than requires Modulemd, 1.0 all in multiple files I couldn't find anything to edit to reference a available version.

    Re: Fedora 28 won'f run dnf update

    From the above link, this seems to work:

    Additional info:
    * dnf is fixed after downgrading libmodulemd:

    $ wget https://rpmfind.net/linux/fedora/lin...c28.x86_64.rpm
    $ rpm -Uvh --oldpackage libmodulemd-1.7.0-1.fc28.x86_64.rpm
    $ dnf --version
    2.7.5

    must use:

    $ sudo dnf update --exclude=libmodulemd

    ...until this is fixed.
