I want to install ReviewBoard from EPEL repo on Fedora

Is it possible to do this? I've not had Fedora on my laptop for a couple of years so haven't kept abreast as to what has happened. However I notice the EPEL repo has ReviewBoard in it. Even though it's part of Fedora it doesn't seem possible to add this repo ?

I got somewhat further by adding the EPEL repo but it looks like python-sqlite isn't supported:

    Code:
    [root@localhost yum.repos.d]# dnf config-manager --add-repo https://anorien.csc.warwick.ac.uk/mirrors/epel/7/x86_64/
    Adding repo from: https://anorien.csc.warwick.ac.uk/mirrors/epel/7/x86_64/
    [root@localhost yum.repos.d]# dnf install ReviewBoard
    created by dnf config-manager from https://anorien.csc.warwick.ac.uk/mirrors/epel/7/x86_64/ 4.8 MB/s | 15 MB 00:03

Re: I want to install ReviewBoard from EPEL repo on Fedora

Although I know little of reviewboard it is much simpler than that! See https://fedoramagazine.org/working-modules-fedora-28/

"This article puts one of those modules to practical use, covering installation and setup of Review Board 3.0 using modules."

    sudo dnf module info reviewboard
-- to see what is available

    sudo dnf module install reviewboard:3.0
-- 2.5 is also an option.

You should remove EPEL repo first!

Re: I want to install ReviewBoard from EPEL repo on Fedora

The issue is probably due to python packages rename. Now the packages contains python version. So I would say it is not possible to do easily.

On a second look, it seems sqlite is now included into standard Python library, the module does not exist anymore in Fedora.

    @srakitnican

I thought my response made clear that you shouldn't install the EPEL repo on Fedora and that Review Board is currently available in Fedora repos - just the new "modular" variety.

    Review Board

Review Board is a popular Django application for performing code reviews. Fedora included Review Board from Fedora 13 all the way until Fedora 21. At that point, Fedora moved to Django 1.7. Review Board was unable to keep up, due to backwards-incompatible changes in Django’s database support. It remained alive in EPEL for RHEL/CentOS 7, simply because those releases had fortunately frozen on Django 1.6. Nevertheless, its time in Fedora was apparently over.

However, with the advent of Modularity, Fedora could again ship the older Django as a non-default module stream. As a result, Review Board has been restored to Fedora as a module. Fedora carries both supported releases from upstream: 2.5.x and 3.0.x.
    On Fedora 29 Workstation

    Code:
    sudo dnf module install reviewboard:3.0
