    Re: Vlc segmentation fault

    At least for @Gordo we can see it fails to load jack audio from the verbose output - "(libjack.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)"

    Try

    sudo dnf install jack-audio-connection-kit

    Ref: https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5131

    Thanks, now it's solved even for me!

    ps. Is it ok to have this output?

    Code:
    $ vlc
    VLC media player 3.0.5 Vetinari (revision 3.0.5-1-0-g653c0c1ca8)
    [000056208fc1b590] main libvlc: Esecuzione di vlc con l'interfaccia predefinita. Usa 'cvlc' per utilizzare vlc senza interfaccia.
    Warning: Ignoring XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland on Gnome. Use QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland to run on Wayland anyway.

    @sbaragnaus - yes I think so as it will still use X11 output via wayland. You can login in xorg mode as well if you wish.

    @mleo40 - I notice the bug report has been closed as "Invalid" with the comment "Looks fine here, perhaps dnf is at fault." As multiple others are reporting the same issue then clearly something is wrong somewhere.

    OK, looks like that was it. VLC starts up. I still need to test it on some files
