[FC29] no sound from a generic usb headset

    Hi,

I bought a generic usb headset (Generic USB PnP Sound Device), it has been detected by the system, I am using Plasma KDE, but it worked for me once and for about a second and then nothing. The sound was too loud, when I decrease it, the sound disappeared forever...

The headset works, i tested it on the other system

This is what dmesg reports on the device when plugged :

Re: [FC29] no sound from a generic usb headset

    Hi,

I redid the test on a laptop which has two usb ports 2.0 and one port 3.0
I had many problems with the 2.0 usb ports with several errors.
With the usb 3.0 I had some messages from dmesg
usb 1-1: 1:1: cannot get freq at ep 0x2
usb 1-1: 2:1: cannot get freq at ep 0x82

But I got the sound from the headset, but sometimes the sound get cut a lot.

Trying again on my PC, nothing, the weird thing is that the headset has a blue led which blinks whenever a sound is played.
When I start movie or a video, the blue led starts to blink but I get nothing from the headset.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Regards.
