Was this a complete update, or an attempt to "pick" certain packages to update (always not a great idea - they're all very inter-related)?
    Change - the only constant.

It was applying security updates only. Should not dnf manage dependencies ?

Maybe the appropriate driver for the network connection is not available for the updated kernel.

Re: F29: No network after kernel upgrade

I'm having the same issue, but I've also lost access to the whole desktop.

    if I try to execute `nmcli radio` I get:
relocation error: /lib64/libgnutls.so.30: symbol nettle_rsa_sec_decrypt version HOGWEED_4 not defined in file libhogweed.so.4 with link time reference

    Were you able to recover?

Re: F29: No network after kernel upgrade

I was able to fix it by updating nettle. Of course I had to connect via Ethernet.

Sounds like both of you are having problems with wifi drivers.

A simple test, reboot and select the previous kernel, if the WiFi works, then it's the driver for the current kernel!

WiFi has stopped to work in previous kernel too so it looks like obsolete packages problem.
