    KDE vs Gnome

I was looking at a video about Centos where the demo was KDE running in one VM and Gnome in the other. The same jobs run on each.
Gnome could drive the cpu to 90 percent, and KDE peaked at 12 % for a few minutes testing.

The persentor favoured KDE , as he has been using it for many years.
What he liked most about KDE were the widgets.

They both pale in comparison to Window Maker.

Cool. I'm on an ethernet-wired desktop PC, so I can't use any of those wi-fi/battery dockapps. And I don't use GMail; I get my email from my Comcast account using Alpine:
