Issue installing F29 Silverblue on mix of NVME & physical drives?

Anyone know if there is an issue installing Fedora 29 Silverblue on a mix of NVME and physical drives?

Repeated attempts here, with different install images, to put the OS on an NVMD SSD and include a formatted HD on another partition fail with Anaconda bailing out very early on.

    Manually partitioning, using Ext4.

You need to clarify what you mean by "physical drives". Many people call all real hardware drives such as on a host OS 'physical' to differentiate them from virtual drives in a VM guest. Therefore a real NVMe SSD, a SATA SSD, and a spinning SATA HDD are all physical drives.

Don't you mean "include another partition on a formatted HDD" ?

What is on the formatted HDD ? If it is just data then it doesn't need to be part of the install process at all. You could add it to /etc/fstab after the install is finished.

I have two 3TB HDDs arranged in a RAID 1 with many data partitions. When I install a new OS to my SSD I don't mention these partitions at all in Anaconda. I just add them in fstab later.

One Samsung NVME and one Toshiba HD formatted as Ext4 mounted on /toshiba. Yes, could add the latter to fstab later.
