Thumbs up F29 is just good!

I understand people have some issues with F29, but none of those seem to be affecting me. After the rather extensive test run in VM, I just thought why not?
I (of course ) got the Gnome live.

So far, it's been great. Basically no issues for me whatsoever, really. Gnome 3.30 is actually somewhat faster then the 3.22/3.26 combo in CentOS 7 and I like the fonts. They are definitely much more readable than the older Gnome has them.
The only thing I miss a bit is gnome-session-properties where simply inputting the command created appropriate .desktop file in ~/.config/autostart, so now it has to be done manually. Not a big deal, no.
RPM Fusion's mpv is also packaged responsibly, so it has DVD playback built in, as well the cuda acceleration for proprietary Nvidia, great. No need to compile that.

No fiddling with initramfs to get rid of nouveau is also cool, so it's now just installing Nvidia driver and that's it. Well, with disabling wayland for gdm, yes. But that's just one hit of a 'delete' key in the conf file..

Basically, I love it. Works fast with nothing I could consider a problem.

    Thx all involved, it rulez!

I'm having no problems with the KDE version either, Maryyy.
I never really had too much of an issue with the fonts, but I've been using the tweaker in Fedy for a few releases now. However, Fedy seems to be unavailable for F29 (at least, the Fedy repos for F29 aren't there yet.

Hehe, it's those small things. I don't know if it was present in 3.28 as well, but I just noticed that in 3.30 I can finally see color picker in the color chooser dialog! I was missing that one, it's sometimes priceless to have.

I lost the ability to control my keyboard back-light going from 28 to 29 and I am really missing Fedy but other than that 29 is pretty awesome!

I'm using KDE as being more complete. With KDE everything supplied just works.

At least in my experience with my hardware, everything provided by Gnome just works too.

And another great thing is now I can just do 'winetricks dxvk' and many dx11 titles are now butter smooth. It just can't get simpler than that.

Howto, per https://github.com/fedy/fedy/issues/632: Ensure installed dependencies per the README

"For anyone that needs fedy now here is how to build it from source"

    # Clone and install
git clone https://github.com/fedy/fedy.git && cd fedy && sudo make install

    # Clean up
    cd .. && rm -r fedy`
