I have just bought a dell xps 9570 with nvidia geforce 1050 ti that I will use mainly for data science coding (notably tensorflow).
It is not that easy for two reasons:
- I cannot find how to install and run nvidia drivers properly
- Fedora use python 3.7 and tensorflow only supports 3.6 at the moment. But this might be solved by using a virtual environment.

There are different informations coming from various sources on the installation of nvidia drivers on linux, there is also the wayland incompatibility and the case of optimus to handle... It is a lot trickier than I thought at the end!

Can someone help me setting up the nvidia driver for my need (tensorflow)?
