Already I use KDE and I am exploring Deepin. If Deepin turns out OK, its KDE/Deepin and bye-bye gnome.
THX for reminder abt Deepin .. I am going to do a VM tonight ... desktop environment looks very nice .... did not know you cld get KDE on a Deepin distro ...

No it won't. The only way KDE will live on for RHEL and CentOS is for it to be taken on and maintained by an EPEL repository contributor.

It depends whether the Fedora KDE package maintainers stick around to carry on with it or if not someone takes it over. It's already a Spin and not a main Fedora Project ISO so nothing will change.

Please stop panicking over nothing guys
As I see it, KDE will not be a mainline product, but will be supported as a spin, just as Deepin or Mate or Cinnamon is provided as a spin. What we want is for rpmfusion.org to include the extra software that spins require. When KDE is not mainline, RH will not have to offer support. Users will find the KDE community to discuss KDE topics.

this is already the case with Fedora so nothing will change in that regard either. rpmfusion need not offer any more than they do already
