Newer version of Wifi driver for Fedora 29 on MacBook Pro 9.1 (Mid-2011)?

Hello everyone. I am Robert. I installed Fedora 29 KDE on my MacBook Pro 9.1 (Mid-2011) as stand-alone operating system which mean no MacOS operating system installed on my laptop.
I've downloaded a very old version of WiFi driver which only see 2.5 GHz speed. The driver is broadcom-wl-5.100.138. Do you know where I can download newer driver which can see 5Ghz speed? Thanks!

in order to recommend the correct wifi driver we need to know which wireless card is in the machine.

can you connect the machine via Ethernet cable? if so go to a terminal and install inxi with this command:
    Code:
    sudo dnf install inxi
once it is installed issue this command and post the output here.
    Code:
    inxi -Fxz
    Thanks.

I believe the broadcom-wl driver should work with that chipset. In terminal type this command
    Code:
    sudo dnf install broadcom-wl
when the install is finished reboot see it wifi works. good luck.
