    Question I could not connect to a specific wifi network

    Hello,
    I am using fedora 28 and I was trying to connect to a wifi network with SSID "rajatopperkada" but I could not connect to it.
    But I can connect to the wifi network with another SSID

    I used network manager as well as wpa_supplicant.
    wpa_supplicant shows!!!

    Code:
    <3>CTRL-EVENT-SSID-REENABLED id=0 ssid="rajatopperkada"
    <3>SME: Trying to authenticate with 84:79:73:e9:26:9a (SSID='rajatopperkada' freq=2412 MHz)
    <3>Trying to associate with 84:79:73:e9:26:9a (SSID='rajatopperkada' freq=2412 MHz)
    <3>Associated with 84:79:73:e9:26:9a
    <3>CTRL-EVENT-SUBNET-STATUS-UPDATE status=0
    <3>CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED bssid=84:79:73:e9:26:9a reason=3 locally_generated=1
    <3>CTRL-EVENT-SSID-TEMP-DISABLED id=0 ssid="rajatopperkada" auth_failures=3 duration=46 reason=CONN_FAILED
    <3>CTRL-EVENT-REGDOM-CHANGE init=CORE type=WORLD
    <3>CTRL-EVENT-REGDOM-CHANGE init=USER type=COUNTRY alpha2=DE
    My wpa_supplicant is

    ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant
    ctrl_interface_group=wheel
    network={
    ssid="rajatopperkada"
    #psk="something secret"
    psk=da3a7f4c859f7eda5361d1aef57d4aa0b292af6611eea3 ba065a945ab33a496c
    }

    Thank you in advance!!

    therein lies the rub. unfortunately that adaptor chip is notoriously problematic with all linux distributions. try this though.

    consider replacing the card then if you can access it with an intel or atheros. alternatively a USB dongle but USB devices can also be problematic if you pick the wrong one.
