    Gnome Power view.
    Shows the UPS but does not show the mouse battery. F28 Gnome Power View shows both power % for the UPS and power % for the mouse battery.

    GCC 8.2
    The gcc 8.2 compiler output for some of my modules is 5k -6k larger in physical size.
    The feedback I had ... Perhaps its due to data segment being separated from the instruction segment. If that is the case,
    the instruction segment should shrink as the data is not local.

    Re: First impressions

    Fedora-Workstation-netinst-x86_64-29_Beta-1.1.iso worked for me on 2nd attempt.
    First attempt failed with a dnf command not finding an object within the rpm.
    Second attempt successful. Only installed C compiler and Development tools.
    It's time to test when I return next week after visiting family

    /etc/default/grub issue
    anaconda and I suppose other installers want a swap file to be used for resumes.
    Around line 5 of the above file you have the following:

    GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="resume=UUID=192aa59f-0741-4236-b2e4-32d6d32e019a rhgb quiet radeon.dpm=1" #sdc2

    The issue I with grub or Anaconda is that I only want all Fedora files located on /dev/sda. Fedora must not have a resume UUID= as a swap file located on another disk. I frequently wipe that disk clean and reinstall.

    In this regard, on my /dev/sda I have set aside a second swap file for the resume= but this file is not chosen for the resume=

    I am in the process of filing a bug report for grub

    re - gcc 8.2 filesizes.

    AFAIK, separate instruction and data segments have been the norm under modern intel CPUs. The size of those segments would undoubtedly be highly variable based on what's in the elf file. Did you compile with -O2 then "strip" the files before posting their size? segment sizes really aren't meaningful until the elf has been "stripped", right?
