    Mouse delay lag F28/Nvidia/Optimus

    Hi,

    I have just installed F28 Workstation and followed the guide for installing bumblebee/primus/nvidia https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US...ocs/bumblebee/

    I had a minor issue after the install in that all I had was "basic video" mode. From what I saw on google searches, i just had to remove the "nomodeset" argument from /etc/default/grub.conf.

    I did that, ran:

    Code:
    grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/efi/EFI/fedora/grub.cfg
    and then rebooted and it was after that I noticed incredibly slow mouse delay lags. Is this just coincidental or is there something else I have missed? The only other GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX argument I have is:

    Code:
    acpi_osi=! acpi_osi='Windows 2009'
    I have a relatively new laptop (MSI GS63VR) and I need that argument to boot into a graphical environment.

    I tried reinstating the nomodeset argument but I still have the mouse delay lag.

    Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions on how to proceed would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    J

    I resolved by removing the bumblebee installation and starting again.
