Nautilus slow to open after reboot

Nautilus has become exceedingly slow to open after a reboot on my F28 system with GNOME 3.28.2. I have to wait 30-60 minutes before it will open. It used to only happen when I upgraded the kernel, but lately it has been happening after every reboot. I've been using Commander when Nautilus isn't available, but that's hardly a solution. I looked at System Monitor to see if tracker or something was running wild, but nothing looked suspicious. What else should I check? Thanks.

Have you found a solution to this problem yet? i had this problem with F28 too. Yesterday i did a fresh install with F29 and noticed the same Problem still exist there. The waiting time is not as long but still longer than it should be.

Places to start looking to see if anything went sour during startup would be /var/log/boot.log and /var/log/messages. Normally I'd suspect a drive mapping that didn't map, but the fact that commander works fine leads me to think that isn't the case here.
    Change - the only constant.

Do you run a RAID system by any chance? I sometimes see the same problem and I am wondering if it is related to the md126_resync process. Like, when md126_resync runs nautilus won't start until it's finished. Just a guess...
