Hello guys,
apparently the newest update breaks boot.
the /boot/efi partition cannot be mounted, "unknown file system 'vfat'"
first I had the following problem:
I then did this:Code:Aug 14 20:00:32 doggy systemd[463]: /usr/lib/systemd/system-generators/systemd-gpt-auto-generator failed with exit status 1. Aug 14 20:04:12 doggy systemd-gpt-auto-generator[481]: Failed to dissect: Input/output error
kernel 4.17.12-200 won't boot, it always goes into emergency mode.Code:vi /etc/default/grub added systemd.gpt_auto=0 to the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX ran grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/efi/EFI/fedora/grub.cfg rebooted
The journalctl -xb then gave me a new message, which makes more sense:
Code:Aug 14 20:00:34 doggy mount[595]: mount: /boot/efi: unknown filesystem type 'vfat'.
any ideas ?
