    thunderbird 60 ETA

I don't even see a thunderbird 60 package in updates-testing, will thunderbird 60 be on Fedora 28 very soon?

I do not even see one built for rawhide. I am not sure if it will make it to Fedora 28 though. The changelog looks extensive.

Thunderbird 60 and Firefox 62 are now both generally in the Fedora repos in the last day or so

rpm -qi thunderbird firefox | grep -B 1 'Build Date'
    Source RPM : thunderbird-60.0-1.fc28.src.rpm
Build Date : Wed 29 Aug 2018 11:06:00 AM EDT

    Re: thunderbird 60 ETA

Does anyone know why Thunderbird 60 never made it from testing to the official updates for Fedora 27? And newer builds (eg, Thunderbird 60.2.x) are no longer created for Fedora 27 (https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/...o?packageID=39).

I know that support for F27 ends in a couple of weeks but packages like Firefox are still supported, so I'm just wondering...

    Re: thunderbird 60 ETA

packages like thunderbird and libreoffice for fedora releases are normally fixed to a specific release and will receive incremental updates only. occasionally you'll get an upgrade to the newer version for specific security reasons but backports of packages to Fedora xx-1 are lower priority.

you can always download and install current Thunderbird separately
