Why no mention of --rebuilddb option in rpm man page or --help

I was looking into the 'rpm --rebuilddb' option and was surprised to find no mention of it anymore in the man page for rpm version 4.14.1 in Fedora 28 nor in the rpm --help listing. Is this a dead option now?

The general form of an rpm rebuild database command is

rpm {--initdb|--rebuilddb} [-v] [--dbpath DIRECTORY] [--root DIRECTORY]
Funny how they hid that in the rpmdb man page.
