peerguardian linux
im on fedora 28 i got peerguardian working on it finally u can fallow my guide here
https://forums.fedoraforum.org/showt...i-peerguaridan
but i have another question regarding security since im paranoid ok so when i get pglgui runing and stuff i have to start it or when i add an ip to the whitelist or when i update it it will ask for roots password wich is fine i know what im doing and it asks every time i do something so EVERY time i add a new ip to the whitelist wich is just what i like doing it asks for my password and considering my password is 56 characters long it gets really old really fast BUT there is a tick box to allow pglgui to remember the password for command sh /tmp/execute-all-pgl-commands.sh would it be safe for me to have it remember the password to make it more easy for myself and dose it remember the pasword for EVERY app i run as root after that or not because if it only remembers that for pglgui then fine.

Re: peerguardian linux
also sometimes now i just bring up kate and copy my password to the clipboard and then i just past it for every ip i need to add to the white list that makes it much more easy and then as soon as im done i delete everything in the clipboard and run bleachbit real quick.
