2 nfs client servers with 100% cpu kworkers after server crash

    Hey guys,

I was doing something heavy in an NFS server box, and it crashed. So I rebooted it.
There were 2 other servers with that server's NFS partitions mounted during the crash, and after it came back up and all works on the server end now, I see that these 2 machines are stuck at 100% CPU on a single kworker process.
perf of it shows its full of rpc calls to the server.

I unmounted -f and -l all of the partitions in the clients, but the problem still persists.
Interestingly, I cannot remount any NFS partition (of that same server) on those 2 client servers.

What to do now ? can I kill the kworkers somehow ?

    cheers

oh well, finished at 6 am, had to reboot the client machines, which are full of virtual hosts, lol, not a small task, chicken-egg scenarios everywhere.

I wonder if I should mount the partitions NFSv3 instead of v4. V3 seemed a lot more forgiving.
