Re: network drops out on FC27

    Hi,
As an update, i am using kernel 4.18.5 (i think) and still getting the systemd-journal issue - there are two scenarios:

    1. I plug in the plugable USB2.0 adapter and it appears/disappears from the wireshark list, and systemd-journal is invoked.

    2. I plug in the plugable USB2.0 adapter and it appears no issue in wireshark, and when i plug in the ethernet cable, then systemd-journal is invoked. (not sure if Network-Manager has an issue as i sometimes see that in the list of top commands - appearing).

    Regards,
    Shadders.

    Hi,
As a further update - have been using kernel 4.18.11 and this has been working with the Plugable USB 2.0 ethernet adapter first time every time.

Upgraded to kernel 4.18.12 and the Plugable USB 2.0 ethernet adapter is appearing/disappearing in the wireshark adapter view - seems to stabilise after a while - had one invoke of systemd-journal due to the problem.

Whatever was done in 4.18.12, then it needs to be reversed to the code in 4.18.11

    Regards,
    Shadders.

    Hi,
As an update, the disappearing/appearing seems to be minimal for 4.18.12. When the PC has ben unlock, or possibly still going through the boot sequences is when it happens.

    Regards,
    Shadders.
