    Screencasting Software F28

I am looking for software that will record window or tab only. Gnome has a built-in screen recorder, and it's pretty good from what I saw. However, it does grab the entire screen. Screencast add-on for Chrome would be interesting if they removed the limitations on the free version. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

In the EasyScreencast GNOME extension you can record a selected region, window, monitor etc:

    Hello jjstorm.

To Answer your need you will need to use " shutter ".

    as User=Root.

    Code:
    dnf install shutter
I will add that to the Multimedia Guide for you.

    good luck.

OBS(Open Broadcaster Software) is an awesome tool!! It's a little more advanced (Does Green Screening, Picture-In-Picture, Etc) but is not too hard to start using and it's very stable!

I prefer SSR aka SimpleScreenRecorder but it will failed on wayland. SSR does not work on Wayland, because Wayland has no screen capturing API.

    Check : https://github.com/MaartenBaert/ssr
Say thanks if I helped you :)
