    Videos app

I was able to get the Videos app to play fine in F27. Along came F28. The Videos app is broken. I installed all the GStreamer requirements.
The the description in the software center for Videos, it says that it plays DVDs.
This description is absolutely false. Iy you're going to provide an app to play DVDs, then it should actually play DVDs.
I threw my hands in the air and installed VLC instead. VLC's description says it plays DVDs and it actually does.

    Re: Videos app

If the DVDs are encrypted you would need to install libdvdcss from a third party repo like rpmfusion.

    Re: Videos app

The DVDs are not encrypted. As I said VLC plays them fine with out installing libdvdcss.
Videos app has the video and sound out of sync and moving the time slider does nothing.
