Fedora 28 LXQt -- popups, unnecessary privileges for net & bluetooth

I installed the Fedora 28 LXQt spin. Networking and bluetooth are indeed working -- as I post this, I am using the internet by tethering to my Samsung Android phone via Bluetooth. It works, IPv6 and all.

However I am getting a multitude of popups asking for privileges that turn out not to be necessary.

If I don't click cancel on these right away, or enter the root password, then more popups appear.

The networking still works when I ignore all this. Can we tone down the popup problem, please?

Following are some of the related packages I have installed, but I can definitely post more information if need be.
