    NFS Weirdness (F27)

For some reason, my nfs-server.service is failing after a reboot. The related NFS services show this:

nfs-idmapd.service loaded active running NFSv4 ID-name mapping serv
nfs-mountd.service loaded active running NFS Mount Daemon
nfs-server.service loaded failed failed NFS server and services

Now, if I manually start the nfs-server.service, I get this:
    nfs-server.service loaded active exited

At this point my networked NFS mounts work, but something is still not right. Doing a simple 'showmount -e' takes about 2 minutes to complete, but it eventually show the proper information:
    [********:~]$ showmount -e
    Export list for DSS-Fedora27:
    /run/media/********/WD-Backups 192.168.0.0/24

/etc/exports has only the one entry:
    /backups 192.168.0.0/24(ro,sync,no_root_squash)

I've used NFS plenty of times in the past; not sure what the problem is. Here's the log from my last reboot:
    May 8 22:10:06 DSS-Fedora27 audit[1]: SERVICE_START pid=1 uid=0 auid=4294967295 ses=4294967295 subj=system_u:system_r:init_t:s0 msg='unit=nfs-idmapd comm="systemd" exe="/usr/lib/systemd/systemd" hostname=? addr=? terminal=? res=success'

Can you post what you have in /etc/export.

After you reboot and wait 2 minutes are you able to start nfs-server??

Can you open two terminals run
    Code:
    tail -f /var/log/messages
in one terminal and in the other terminal
    Code:
    systemctl start nfs-server
and post the output from messages log here.

    Here's my /etc/exports file:

    /backups 192.168.0.0/24(ro,sync,no_root_squash)

I'll get the rest tomorrow morning when I can reboot.

    It's still failing on reboot.
