ETH0 does not connect automatically when plugged in, needs restart [Fedora28]]

    Hello,

This started in fedora 27. If I am using wireless, and plugging in LAN port, I can see the light blinking but the LAN is not activated in the system.

systemctl restart NetworkManager does not solve the problem. again wifi is connected. Only if I restart keeping the LAN plugged in, it connects.
Recently upgraded to f28 but the problem persists.

Any tips to resolve this problem ?
    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers,
    Dhiraj

Open up a terminal and switch to root.
    Code:
    nmtui
    1) click on Edit a connection
    2) select your ethernet port and click edit.
    3) maybe sure there is a X next to Automatically connect, then click OK, back and quit.

you can also bring it up with a command, but you will have to run that command each time you plug in your ethernet cable, if you ethernet is called eth0 use
    Code:
    ip link set eth0 up

X is already next to Automatically connect.
I checked it is eno1 in my laptop.
It executes ip link set eno1 up but can't connect. Even if I add a new ethernet network, it does not bring it up.

    Thanks for the help anyway,
    Dhiraj
