Can't test sound output with F28

With F28, I selected analog output, clicked on test, for my earphone jack on the front panel, I have sound.

For the default "stereo" speakers, I can't get left channel or right channel to work.

I have a separate F28 that I upgraded from F27. There it works.

So is it my system or is this bug general. I prefer to find out here before I do a tedius search with Bugzilla.

    Wayland, what's up?

    Hello my friend.

well,to me it looks like you not cover on the Gstreamr +codecs on that system.
the best way to start with solve issue will be in the software add-ons first and to cover all of them.

2 - After you install all of the codecs there...open Fedy and add the Multimedia codecs from there.

3 - when you done the last part....dnfdragora and make search for:

    1 - lame+2 lime.
    2 - mpg.
    3 - xmms.
    4 - mms .
    5 - ffmpeg.
6 - look what you need to install in Gstreamer1.
7 - theora see what is not install there.
    8 - mp3+mp4 support.
9 - on pulseAudio look for the packkages to add for the jack + other packages that you need from there.

    hope that helps.

    take care and good luck.

    Hi FFedora

    Thank you for the posting.

I am lazy, and since there is a Fedora Remix, I used that.
The problem is a Gnome problem

    When you click on Settings->sound
You have the option to Test-Speakers and to adjust the balance between right and left speaker, (or earphone).
It is this test and balance that is not working for Fedora, Suse Linux, and while I do not have Manjaro, I bet it is not working for it too.
    Gnome is broken.
I have posted the problem to Bugzilla of Fedora. I presume they will repost to Gnome.

I use the following Gnome Remix that has the codecs included. It has much of Fedy included.

    OK and all good.

so here is my Advice to you in personal....
Download the Cinnamon-Remix and After the Update things work just fine.

And yes all the audio will do the work for you.

    well....works for me my friend.
