My computer has Mint 17 on it. I would like to use the Fedora 27 LiveDVD to set up a dual boot with Mint 17.

I want to use Fedora to securely ( CAC ) VPN into my comptuer at work. I don't plan on using it for anything else.

Here is my partition set up:

Code:
Mint17QianaCinnamonBIOSF10$ lsblk
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
sda 8:0 0 149.1G 0 disk
├─sda1 8:1 0 243M 0 part /boot
├─sda2 8:2 0 1K 0 part
└─sda5 8:5 0 148.8G 0 part
  ├─mint--vg-root (dm-0) 252:0 0 146.9G 0 lvm /
  └─mint--vg-swap_1 (dm-1) 252:1 0 2G 0 lvm [SWAP]
sdb 8:16 0 931.5G 0 disk
└─sdb1 8:17 0 931.5G 0 part /media/steve/FreeAgent GoFl
sr0 11:0 1 1024M 0 rom
Mint17QianaCinnamonBIOSF10$
It has been a LONG time since I did anything like this, so I have some questions:

1. Is sda5 mint-vg-root(dm-0) the partition I want to resize to put Fedora on?
2. Is 20 gigs sufficient for a Fedora partition?
3. Can I tell the Fedora LiveDVD installer to use the existing SDA1 as the boot partition?
4. Can I tell the Fedora LiveDVD installer to use the existing SDA5 mint--vg-swap_1 as the swap?

Is there anything else I should be concerned about when attempting this?

Thanks
