    Firmware bug, microcode

I'm trying to install Fedora 27 on a laptop (Samsung NP530E5M), which is currently running Windows 10. I was planning on dual booting Linux and Windows. I keep encountering this error after clicking "Start fedora-xfce-live 27":

[firmware bug]: TSC_DEADLINE disabled due to errata; please update microcode to version 0x52 (or later)
I've looked online and tried updating microcode under Windows following different guides, but it hasn't changed anything. Any ideas?

Some additional information: According to Intel Extreme Tuning Utility, I have Microcode Update 0x80.

    what is "clicking Start ..."
it doesn't just boot from the CD or whatever?

Are you trying to boot fedora from Windows?

Hi, I'm actually booting from a flash drive, and whenever I begin installation it produces this error. I'm not trying to install Fedora inside WIndows, if that's what you're asking. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. I successfully installed Fedora 27 on another Samsung laptop, so I don't think there is anything wrong with the flash drive.
