dnf update all -> Gnome crash at login -> can't rollback update F27

I updated F27 and restarted.. now, at greeter login it begins to launch a session but crashes and splashes a grey screen with an "Oh no, something has gone wrong and the system can't recover".

    Watching Xorg.0.log, no error message.

Re: dnf update all -> Gnome crash at login -> can't rollback update F27

I tried disabling GDM, reboot, startx from CLI and it crashes to a prompt (didn't watch logs during this). I also tried startx as root to eliminate something in my login environment, then reset the system to graphical.target and setup a fresh user and tried GUI login with that user, and the same result.

OK, let's uninstall and try again. Well, that didn't work!

    Code:
    # sudo dnf history list | head -3
    ID | Command line | Date and time | Action(s) | Altered

    # sudo dnf history undo 1177

Re: dnf update all -> Gnome crash at login -> can't rollback update F27

    do you use apache ?
if not, then try [dnf remove apr-util] (it may erase a bunch of other stuff, no worris as you can reinstall them later)
and then try the upgrade again.
