    cannot login into gdm

    Hi,

After an upgrade from 24 to 25, the boot gets stuck at the login interface from gdm. I can enter the password but the interface mimics a login and returns to initial page asking for password. The strange thing is that when I systemctl multi.target, I then can log in my user and startx, which start X without any issue and no fallback.

I would like to ask then what process(es) are used during a graphical.target automatic login boot that are not during a multi.target manual login boot followed by startx to narrow the places to look to find the origins of this problem ? or a mean to find the list ?

    Thank you

Solved the issue by enabling Xorg in /etc/default/custom.conf
