Question Can lvm2 and lvm2-libs be removed if I am not using any LVM volumes?

I don't use LVM. I got burned twice using LVM several years ago and decided to never let LVM near my drives again. Please don't try to change my mind.

Since I am not using LVM, can lvm and lvm-libs safely be removed from my system? I kept getting error messages in my logwatch reports about failure of lvmetad. Not surprising since I have no LVM volumes.

You can remove lvm package, but that remove other packages:
    Code:
    [root@host-192-168-1-2 ~]# dnf remove lvm*
    Dépendances résolues.

    I think it's not safe.
But you can disable all lvm service (I do that without issue).

Thank you. I was afraid that might be the case. I'll just disable what I can and just leave it.
