Fedora 27: Failed to listen on Load/Save RF Kill Switch Status.

    Hi,

I found this in the boot.log. It might happen after I installed TLP and rebooted.

[FAILED] Failed to listen on Load/Save RF Kill Switch Status /dev/rfkill Watch.
See 'systemctl status systemd-rfkill.socket' for details.

    OS: Fedora 27 Cinnamon Spin
    Kernel: 4.13.16-302.fc27x86_64

I hope to learn something here.

    Thank you.

Re: Fedora 27: Failed to listen on Load/Save RF Kill Switch Status.

I also have log displayed same FAILED status here..

    Code:
    [ultraman@taro ~] $ less -r /var/log/boot.log | grep fkill
[FAILED] Failed to listen on Load/Save RF Kill Switch Status /dev/rfkill Watch.
See 'systemctl status systemd-rfkill.socket' for details.
    Code:
    [ultraman@taro ~] $ systemctl status systemd-rfkill.socket
    ● systemd-rfkill.socket - Load/Save RF Kill Switch Status /dev/rfkill Watch
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/systemd-rfkill.socket; static; vendor preset: disabled)
       Active: inactive (dead)
         Docs: man:systemd-rfkill.socket(8)
       Listen: /dev/rfkill (Special)

    Feb 14 21:12:03 ultraman systemd[1]: systemd-rfkill.socket: Socket service systemd-rfkill.service not loaded, refusing.
Feb 14 21:12:03 ultraman systemd[1]: Failed to listen on Load/Save RF Kill Switch Status /dev/rfkill Watch.
    Code:
    [ultraman@taro ~] $ ls -Z /var/lib/systemd | grep rfkill
    system_u:object_r:systemd_rfkill_var_lib_t:s0 rfkill
But I just ignore the log :P
Say thanks if I helped you :)

I just uninstall TLP. Since I just know Tuned is officially recommend and supported by Fedora / RHEL.
    Please have a look - http://tuned-project.org
