Make Fedora 27 Cinnamon Spin works like Linux Mint 18.3.

    Hi Everyone,

I am using Fedora 27 Cinnamon Spin, currently. Also, I notice that there are the most recent version of Cinnamon 3.6 plus a lot of its feature coming in via 'sudo dnf update', which are really nice. However, I have the following questions.

    1. Linux Mint 18.3 has just been released couple days ago. How similar between Fedora 27 Cinnamon Spin and Linux Mint 18.3? I know they both use Cinnamon 3.6.

    2. Linux Mint 18.3 has Timeshift, a new revamp "Software Manager", "Backup Tool", and "System Reports", etc. How do we bring those features into Fedora 27 Cinnamon spin, or should not we? If you can give me reason that would be great, so that I may learn something.

    3. What else I can do to make Fedora 27 Cinnamon Spin to work as close as Linux Mint 18.3? Should I remove dnfdragora?

    Thank you in advance.

The extra updates are due to some network applet and epel packaging changes we are doing plus some fixes.
F27 base packages are much newer than the old ubuntu LTS base mint uses, other than that the cinnamon packages are the same apart from the distro customizations and patches.

Maybe timeshift will be included at some stage, it isn't going to be high on my to do list

    https://github.com/linuxmint/timeshift

As for there software manager (apt based) and system reporting (apport based) tools, they are debian/ubuntu only and are useless for fedora.
